Ryan Air’s digital makeover seems to be only skin-deep. I found this article from 2015 heralding a new digital era for them. When they launched their new website this happened: “Airline’s website, despite relaunch with easier booking system, no longer in top 100 results for flights to European destinations.” Now what’s happened with their ERP platform and losing £80m, it looks like they’ve not actually sat down to work out how their digital transformation should work from top to bottom.
