WLW opened a wider luxury fragrance market for an organic perfume brand. Monthly Google organic clicks rose from around 1,400 to more than 27,000, while year-on-year revenue averaged 4x growth and reached 17x in individual months.
An organic perfume brand had built its search presence around natural ingredients and organic fragrances. It was reaching people who already understood that category, but a much larger audience was searching for luxury perfume, niche fragrances and distinctive British scents. WLW identified the gap and built a search and content strategy to open up that wider market.
Over approximately one year, monthly organic search clicks increased by around 19x, from 1,400 to more than 27,000. During the growth period, the business also recorded average year-on-year revenue growth of around 4x, with individual months reaching 17x.

Organic and natural perfume searches had provided a valuable starting point. Yet the brand’s organic clicks and impressions were broadly flat through early 2025. The search language drawing people to the website reflected a relatively narrow view of what the business offered.
Our research uncovered adjacent audiences with a different starting point. Some buyers looked for luxury or exclusive fragrances. Others searched for niche perfume, British fragrance brands or more sophisticated scents. The brand had an opportunity to be considered in those searches while continuing to serve customers interested in organic ingredients.
We mapped the wider fragrance market against customer search language, competitor themes and buyer intent. This established a clearer set of opportunities beyond the original organic perfume category and helped us decide which pages and topics could make the biggest commercial difference.
The strategy retained the existing organic and natural perfume content that was already performing. We expanded the surrounding message to express more of the brand’s premium appeal, creating stronger connections between its products and the terms people use when researching distinctive fragrances.
We prioritised pages with the greatest potential for improvement, focusing first on weaker content. Product descriptions, page titles, headings and search snippets were rewritten or refined to make the offer clearer, more relevant and easier to find.
New content pillars addressed premium fragrance searches and the questions buyers ask before choosing a perfume. The work created a stronger relationship between product pages, supporting content and the wider brand story. A schedule of blog and social content helped sustain that direction over time.
The programme covered SEO, content, AI search visibility, trust signals and page performance. We strengthened the topics and language associated with the brand so that search engines and AI-assisted discovery systems could interpret its wider relevance within the fragrance market.
We tracked search ranking changes, impressions and clicks alongside website traffic and revenue reporting. This allowed the team to follow the move from broader visibility to measurable commercial performance and to refine priorities as the programme developed.
The brand’s visibility now extends beyond people specifically searching for organic perfume. It can reach shoppers comparing premium fragrances, discovering niche perfumers and exploring British fragrance brands, while maintaining the organic positioning that gave it a foothold in the market.
The combination of wider search visibility, increased organic clicks and reported revenue growth makes this a strong example of how commercial results can follow when brand positioning, customer language, content and search are developed together.
